On Thursday, we received our approval from the orphan court and now have what is called: temporary custody until our final paperwork is processed through the court. We then headed out to our three hour drive to Riga to the US Embassy to apply for Aleks’ visa. After the approval of the visa we picked it up on Friday afternoon. We were done!!!! YAY!

Kevin tried to change our flight to head out on Saturday…but, there was nothing available. So, for the next few days we will be site seeing and people watching…

Monday will arrive soon and we will be on a plane and heading to US soil!!!!

I have missed my girls so much. Aleks has missed his sisters and is ready to be HOME!!!

I am so thankful for my family and friends that have taken care of Kristen and Rachel and Chip while we have been away…and look forward to see each of you on Monday…

We land around 3:30!!!!

This journey has been very moving and life changing. I know there is more to come. God is not done…just wonder what is next along the way.
