Christmas at the Tuttle house was new and different. New Year's was new and different. We had so many amazing moments. So many firsts...and will continue to have them each and every day.

Through the holidays we were able to host a wonderful person from Latvia. She was our Orphan Court Director, Taiga. She came to America to be a part of a hosting program and we had her stay with us for the four weeks she lived here in the states. She was able to see our family life, daily routines, Christmas break, church life and shopping...

I love that she was able to see first hand what she approved...She said "yes" to us being Aleks' forever family. And then she was able to live with us and watch what our life is like...though, sometimes a little crazy! Thank you Taiga!!!

I am looking forward to the new year's events and changes. There is so much to blog about...but, I will save it for another day.
