The fragrant smells of the blooming flowers, the beauty of the tiny buds of the maple trees and the amazing shapes of each petal of the crabapples and dogwoods are just the start of a season of new beginnings…Nisan is the month on the Hebrew calendar.

There is an eager anticipation that I feel this time of year. I always look for the surprise of each new plant that pushes it’s way through the soil. But this year, it is more than just the earth awakening with beauty, it is an awaken of my soul.

The yearning to be obedient, the desire to have all of my questions answered. The questions that have been arising in my heart for the past months. To seek and find, has brought me again to another beautiful event in history. One that changed the world and changed my heart…forever.

Passover the Biblical Feast written in scripture.

Did you know, that while Israel was in slavery in Egypt, they chose a spotless lamb, to be brought to the priest as a sacrifice on the 14th day of Nisan. It had to be examined for five days to insure that it was without blemish. This was done on the 10 day of Nisan. Yeshua entered Jerusalem on the tenth day of Nisan... He was tried and tested and they tried to find fault with him…

But let’s back up…for generations families celebrated the freedom YHWH gave them from Egypt. Each and every year, they would sit together and have a Passover Feast to honor YHWH and give thanks. Think about this…

Yeshua grew up celebrating this feast and knowing that one day he would fulfill each and every symbol of this dinner. Then the time came…

As you look at the details of history, you will see that Yeshua came and fulfilled each aspect of the Passover Feast... the celebration from generations before…and Yeshua fulfilled each and every beautiful element down to the hour and detail.

This year, the tenth of Nisan is April 14th... and the 14th of Nisan is April 18th.

Take time to truly know your Savior…may you receive a blessing through this amazing week of LOVE…for YOU!

So this weekend we will celebrate… A Passover Seder. Visit this link to learn more and see how the plan has been fulfilled.

Looking for more on this journey,

Cindy
