The last of YHWH’s feasts – The Feast of Tabernacles. Today, October 13, 2011 is the start of this feast. The purpose is for future generations to know and remember…and celebrate!

Here is a short description from a great website: www.hebrew4christians.com

The Feast of Tabernacles (Sukkot)

From a spiritual perspective, Sukkot corresponds to the joy of knowing your sins were forgiven (during Yom Kippur), and also recalls God’s miraculous provision and care after the deliverance from bondage in Egypt. (Read Leviticus 23:43) Prophetically, Sukkot anticipates the coming kingdom of Yeshua where all the nations will come up to Jerusalem to worship YHWH during the festival (Zechariah 14:16). Today, Sukkot is a time to remember God’s Sheltering Presence and Provision for us for the start of the New Year.

So, we are going to celebrate by creating our own “look” for a sukkah – booth, by decorating outside…and have a few of our meals outside! Should be fun!

And we look forward to the day of Yeshua’s return fulfilling this feast. (Revelation 21:3-7)

If you are interested in studying more, purchase a great study guide of YHWH’s feasts. Dallas and Carl Paetzold live here in Amarillo and I love how the book has discussion questions and scripture to study along the way. The title is Feast of Faith, Finding Jesus in the Jewish Feasts (amazon).

I am enjoying each and every feast studied and know that there are specific things to know about each…I love how YHWH has a very specific plan and we are on an amazing walk with Him!

Continuing to see Him in all the beauty this journey!

There is so much to learn!
